Ilias Papadopoulos

Division Head

Ilias Papadopoulos, born 1965, obtained his “Fachhochschulreife” and joined TRIMET AG in 1987, to start a vocational training as a wholesale and international trade specialist which he successfully completed in 1989.

After that, he worked in the areas of material planning and trading. From 1992- 1994, Ilias Papadopoulos stayed with the aluminium industry, first with W&O Bergmann in Düsseldorf and later with Billiton.

In April 1994, Ilias Papadopoulos returned to TRIMET ALUMINIUM AG, where he was given power of attorney in October 1994; since October 2006, he has the function of Division Head.
